A final schedule will be released later. "Most of our events have taken place on Beale Street, but we think it's important to have something in east Memphis," says Dennis Brooks, president of the Beale Street Blues Society. "Although we are named the Beale Street Blues Society, we are the society for the city of Memphis and the Mid-South. We hope this will become an annual event." Tickets for the show are $8 for members of the Beale Street Blues Society and $10 for non-members. Attendees are encouraged to pack a picnic lunch and bring blankets and chairs. Wine will be sold; no other alcoholic beverages are allowed. Cordova Cellars hosts several music events during the summer and fall.
