The Preston Shannon Band will headline the annual Beale Street Blues Society Holiday Party on Dec. 13 at Black Diamond on Beale Street.

Admission to the annual holiday bash, which doubles as a membership drive/party, is $15 and automatically makes you a member of the Beale Street Blues Society for a year. Family admission is $25, and also counts as a membership. Admission includes food and beverages. Black Diamond is donating its space for the party.

"The majority of our members use the holiday party for their membership. It's a great party and a great way to pay your dues for the year," says Dennis Brooks, president of the society.

The party starts at 8 p.m. with a short acoustic set from Keith Brown, winner of the society's annual talent contest and runner-up in the international finals. The Preston Shannon Band will play from about 9 p.m. to midnight.
